Bayern Munich ready to face rivals Borussia Dortmund

German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are now ready to face Borussia Dortmund ¬†according to the club’s website .For the last seven days the Bundesliga champions have been preparing for the Dortmund clash as the travel to face their arch-rivals on Saturday evening.Carlo Ancelotti ‘s men are almost “ready to go” and have received a boost as some of the team’s players are now back in training.Jerome Boateng and Renato Sanches are doing well in training , the pair had been out of action for a short while because of injury and international duty .

Boateng , who suffered a knee injury against Hoffenheim is now back in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans and he will surely start the match at the Westfalenstadion .Renato Sanches has also come back to the team after international duty with the Portugal national team .Bayern defender Philipp Lahm mentioned on a club’s website that his side will need to display a top performance if they fancy beating Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.The Bayern Munich captain also stressed that it will be important for his team mates to stay focus ahead of this game.

Bayern Munich is currently at the top of the Bundesliga table ahead of RB Leipzig who is equal on points with fewer goals.The German record holding champions are unbeaten for ten games, they registered seven wins and three draws. A win away at Dortmund will lift them up the log table and possibly put them a few points clear from the second placed RB Leipzig.

Borussia Dortmund is currently placed at 5th position in the Bundesliga standings with eighteen points, having played ten matches and won five matches , drawn three and lost two.A victory at home for Dortmund will take them to 4th or third position ahead of Hertha BSC or Hoffenheim.Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel is quiet aware that his side will have to put a strong performance to get three points out of this game.
