Lazio is always a tough test for Juventus , that is according to Juve midfielder Mario Lemina. The Gabonese youngster told Sky and Mediaset that Lazio is always a tough side to beat, expressing that his team will have to be on their best if they want to beat Lazio.
The Italian giants have started the season well as they managed to beat Fiorentina last Saturday , they will be hoping to to pull the same performance this coming weekend.
The 2015/2016 Serie A champions have won 27 in 29 matches, Melina has urged his teammates to keep the same pace and avoid complacency as they head to the Stadio Olimpica on the weekend to face Lazio.
Speaking in the interview by Sky and Mediaset the Gabonese born creative midfielder said: “Lazio never give you an easy game and this weekend’s meeting will be no different. To get the right result we’ll need to play as we did against Fiorentina and remain focused for the full 90 minutes.
“I feel wanted here, both by the club and the coaching staff, and knowing that what you are doing is appreciated gives you all the motivation you need to give your all on matchday, Lemina commented.
“Wherever the coach needs me to play, I’ll be there. There isn’t a position that I have a natural preference for; I’m just as happy in front of the defence as I am further forward, he added .
“The new signings have bolstered what was already an excellent squad. We can expect the same title rivals to challenge us this season and we know they will all be pushing as hard as possible to knock us off our stride.”
Juventus have won five consecutive Italian Serie A Championship tittles and they are still a force to be reckoned with this season, the Italians are looking to stretch their record to sixth come next season.
