Leicester first Uefa Champions League win convincing

English Premier  League champions Leicester City have stamped their authority in the Uefa Champions League. The foxes managed to beat Club Brugge 3-0  to secure their first win of the European Championship.Goals from Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton ensured that the English visitors secure the first  three points of the Uefa Champions League tournament.
Marc Albrighton has became the first player for Leicester to score in the European Champions League , the midfielder scored the first goal after just five minutes. Riyad Mahrez scored the second goal , a brilliant freekick  and then scored a penalty later on in the match to wrap t up.
“It is history because the first match we won away. It was important. I was a little scared at the beginning because Brugge had a chance to score, Ranieri said .
“Then suddenly, the first action saw us score a goal with [Marc] Albrighton. He deserved it because he’s a hard worker and it was good.
“After this, we were more calm and we could play our own match. Brugge had control of the ball and moved it well, but we had control of the match, the Foxes coach added.
“I said a clean sheet was important. We scored twice [in the first half] and it was important to keep going and be attentive so we don’t make any mistakes.
“We scored three goals but I don’t think it was a perfect performance. We can improve a lot ” ,concluded the Italian manager.
The Foxes will now have to direct their focus back to the domestic premier league. They will face Burnley at home , the club’s manager Claudio Ranieri knows that it is crucial for his side to secure a home win .Leicester have lost three in five premier league matches and desperately need the three points to get their domestic campaign back on track.
