New Arsenal striker Lucas Perez has always admired the Gunners , the Spanish forward mentioned this during an interview on Arsenal TV . Perez, who has just completed a move to Arsenal says he has always admires player’s such as Reyes, Henry and Bergkamp.
In an interview the Spaniard said:
“Well, obviously everyone knows about Arsenal’s legendary players, such as Henry and Bergkamp,” he told Arsenal TV. “I really admired Reyes, who’s a fellow Spaniard ,he said .
” Pires, Vieira too… that was a wonderful time for Arsenal and everyone knows all those players. People know all about them in Spain and that history of having legends at the club is part of the reason Arsenal are so popular, he added”.
“Bellerin said hello and so did Cazorla they were both here at the training ground,” commented Lucas .
“I’ve seen them play and things but I don’t know them personally because I only started playing in La Liga two years ago, by which time they’d certainly come here, so I never got the chance to meet them in person.”

He started his career at Atletico Madrid as a youth and later joined Rayo Vallecano as a development player, Perez later progressed to the senior team.After an impressing at the Los Vallecanos he joined Ukrainian side FC Karpaty Lviv where he made over 50 appearances.
Lucas Perez was later loaned to Dinamo Kiev, the Spaniard also played in Greece for PAOK where he won a runners up medal after his side lost to Panathinaikos in the 2014 Greek Football Cup Final.
Perez later joined Deportivo on loan and was the signed by the club permanently after an impressive season at Deportivo. The Spanish forward impressively scored 17 goals in 35 games in the 2015/16 campaign and equaled a club record for most goals scored in successive games.
