Shaktar Donetsk has secured their spot in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 after humiliating FC Bate.The Shaktar outfit made sure that they book their spot in the European competition despite on of their important defenders Olexandr Kucher being injured and replaced by Ivan Ordets.Bate started the game very well and almost scored when a free kick bu Douglas Costa was saved by the goalkeeper.The club played well to maintain the game but it was going to be difficult to prevent the on form Shaktar from attacking and scoring.

The second half saw Schalke convert another goal in just three minutes when Adriano played a dummie from a Srna through pass that saw Teixeira getting a clear opportunity to put the ball though Chernik’s goal post.The two Shaktar Donetsk forward we giving the Bate defense hell throughout the game and this saw more goals come. The game was not over yet as Evgeni Yablonski passed Adriano again allowing the pacy striker to convert the ball past the FC Bate goalkeeper. Shaktar were just excelling on this game and they made sure that they upset FC Bate in order to control the whole match,Shaktar had sealed this game.
