A quick look at Ballotelli’s career
Ballotelli began his career at Lumezzane where he played for a while but eventually joined Inter Milan after failing a trial at Barcelona. Roberto Mancini brought Balotelli to the first team at Inter but when Mancini left the club Mario started having disciplinary problems on and off the pitch.
Balotelli did not have a good relationship with the next coach Jose Mourinho and was eventually suspended from the first team in 2009.Mario lost love from Inter fans after he appeared on the media wearing an AC Milan jersey,a rival team. Mourinho described Mario Bollateli as an unmanageable player after both the player and the coach had a fallout more than once, eventually their relationship in the team ended.
Roberto Mancini moved to Manchester City and decided to give Balloteli a second chance thus Mario signed for Man City.He did well at Manchester City as he helped the team win the league tittle and become one of the top teams in the English Premiership. His disciplinary problems saw him not seeing eye to eye with Roberto Mancini and subsequently he was let go and returned to Italy to play for AC Milan.
He spent 18 months in Milan and then went back to the English Premiership side Liverpool FC where he is now playing. Lack of discipline from Mario Balotelli has definitely impacted in his career, many people have cited that the player could have been played for bigger teams such as Real Madrid and Chelsea had he been consistent off and on the pitch with discipline.
Balotelli played his first international game in a friendly against Ivory Coast in 2010.He now has over 30 caps and has represented Italy at the UEFA Euro 2012 and the 2014 world cup. In the field Ballotelli is an agile, quick and powerful striker with a lot of pace but is usually criticized for his poor and immature attitude at times which also costs the teams.
He is regarded as as one of the best penalty takers in the world of football having missed only one penalty throughout his football career so far. Some say that Mario Balotelli could have been in the caliber of world strikers such as Cristiano Ronaldo if he did not suffer from a lack of discipline.
